The Vaio gang gets a new kid- Sony Vaio W. When the Vaio W was in the nascent stage, Sony refused to acknowledge it as a ‘netbook.’ But with time, it came to be featured a netbook. The processor is 1.66 Ghz Intel Atom N450 and for the graphics, it is equipped with Intel GMA 3150.



Regarding memory, you can expect 1GB DDR2 RAM. A memory Card slot and an SD card reader are also attached. The HDD it carries has 250GB capacity with 5400rpm speed. The netbook comes pre-loaded with Windows Phone 7 Starter Edition. The 10.1 inch netbook has 1366X768 pixel resolution.

The ultraportable netbook weighs just 2.8 pounds. Also featuring is the optical drive. Other specs include- 802.11b/g/n WiFi, Bluetooth 2.1, 2 USB ports, VGA and Webcam. The colors in which it is available are pink, blue, white and black.
